T & S: Stonehurst Wedding
Tim and Sara had such a beautiful Stonehurst wedding! They decided to take full advantage of the property by utilizing the mansion for getting ready, ceremony in the new wooded location and then reception in the barns.
I started out taking photos with Sara, her bridesmaids and moms while my second photographer Jess got photos of Tim getting ready. Once everyone was dressed we went down the staircase for the first look. Tim waited patiently at the bottom while Sara came down to surprise him. It was such a beautiful moment of the day when they first saw each other.
Since we had the first look we were able to take all of the bridal party, family and couple photos before the ceremony so that they could join in on cocktail hour with their guests.
They took the trolley over to the ceremony site which is a fun little ride around the property. This was one of the first weddings I had with a flower man that gracefully made his entrance down the aisle.
These two had one of the coolest cakes that I’ve seen! From the front it looks like a normal 4 tiered cake but once you go to the other side they had it personalized with Marvel characters which was kind of the theme from the wedding – you’ll see when you see Tim’s detail photos. Each other groomsman had a different character theme.
