South Norwalk Engagement Session

I95s on a Sunday is certainly not a pleasant ride, however it was totally worth it for Manny & Maria’s South Norwalk engagement session!

We started out the session in their apartment which is such a fun thing to do. This makes the session much more personal and can definately help people relax since they are in a place that they are comfortable. From there we took a nice little walk around the block to the underpass with SONO on the wall, which stands for South Norwalk.

I personally love the image with the car passing by in the foreground. When you’re in the city it’s hard to capture an image with only the subjects you want in it…so might as well use whats around you to have a little fun. I will admit it was tricky to hold the long lens still enough to get the motion blur from the car but yet keep Manny & Maria sharp, but I think it worked out well.

We then took a short drive to a beach club which was beautiful! We explored the area by the water and waited for sunset. The sky was pretty cool but when we didn’t think it would get better we started for our cars to call it a night. On our way there we looked over and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets and quickly made a run for it. It worked out great as there was a white building behind us which reflected the sun back onto the couple balancing the light perfectly.
