Hawks Ridge Winery Engagement
Wow! What a beautiful evening we had for Marc & Daniele’s Hawks Ridge Winery engagement session! The vineyard sits atop a hill in Watertown so the views are absolutely amazing. They decided to bring their dog Gunner along for a few shots with him before he went home. They had a nice little sign made up for him to wear boasting the title “Dog of Honor”.
We spent some time in roaming through the vines to get some great shots. From there we ventured over to a Willow tree which is one of my favorite kinds. I just love how they hang down and you can get right in between them. There was a beautiful white fence that we went to next. The sun was sinking lower in the sky at this point and produced such nice warm light that backlit the couple as they leaned up against it.
You can’t go to a winery and not get wine right?!? We went back up to the winery to grab a few glasses and get some shots on the porch with a really nice long standing table. This is the vineyard where they got engaged so it just felt right making an image with the right and the glasses that have the name of logo of the vineyard.
As the sun was setting we went back over to the vines to get a few sunset shots before calling it a night. It was great to get to hang out with March & Danielle. I am so excited for their wedding at The Loading Dock in Stamford next year!
