Gillette Castle Engagement Session
It was such a great time spending the after noon with Alex & Michelle for their Gillette Castle engagement session. If you’ve never been to Gillette Castle, I would highly recommend checking it out. Located in East Haddam overlooking the Connecticut River it is home to a nice pond with a stone bridge, hiking trails and great views.
We started off the adventure by walking down to the pond, which unfortunately the bridge was closed off for repair. We went down to the edge of the pond which is surrounded by stone where we got some nice images sitting on the edge.
The next spot we walked to is one of my favorites! There is a footbridge that has a nice long span. I love the leading lines here, especially when using a long lens I just love how it draws your eyes into the subject.
