Z & A: Tunxis Country Club Wedding
I love how Zack & Ashily incorporated some of both of their traditions into their Tunxis CC wedding. It was amazing to see two different cultures come together to create such a fun wedding experience.
I started out the day with Zack and his groomsmen as they got ready at a nearby hotel. It was a fun time as they joked around and helped each other get dressed for the day. After a few portraits inside the room I went over to Tunxis where Ashily was getting ready in their bridal suite. Once Ashily’s dress was on we took a few portraits with her mom before going out underneath the pine trees for the first look.
The first look was a magical moment, as they all are. I just love a private first look where couples can take in the moments before everyone starts to say hi and congratulate them.
The ceremony was really cool as they incorporated the breaking of the glass and the chuppah as well as Ashily’s relatives were wearing beautiful attire. After exchanging vows we took some of the bigger family portraits before heading under the pavilion for their reception.
After being introduced and having their first dance they went right into the hora which is traditional Jewish dance that is just bursting with energy. As a surprise to the couple a few of Ashily’s relative brought drums and got out on the dance floor to perform. Everyone had a great time partaking in both dances.
