W & H: Society Room Wedding
It was such a pleasure getting to know these two over the past few years, through their engagement session, wedding at the Big E and then their society room wedding celebration!
We started out the day getting ready at the hotel with both Wes and Hannah in separate room. This makes it so much easier for me to be able to capture them both without missing anything. Honestly the guys only take about 15 minutes to get ready and then they’re good to go.
We ventured over to City Hall where we started out with bridal party photos, then family and then photos of the two of them. I love photographing at City Hall in Hartford – it’s a unique spaces that is good for any weather condition as the light in there is always great to work with. We went all over taking photos in the atrium, the stairs, elevator and the upper balcony that has a beautiful backdrop of windows above.
From City Hall we went over to the Society Room for some more photos on Pratt street and in the vault – if you’ve never seen this spot it’s just amazing! There was a nice bow renewal inside of Society Room in front of the giant windows. Hannah made her grand entrance coming down the stair car with her father. They got the enjoy some of the cocktail hour and mingle with their guests before being introduced into their first dance.
