July 4th Wedding: Riverhouse

Pat & Jena had such a beautiful July 4th wedding at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station! I’ve never photographed a July 4th wedding so when Pat & Jena reached out I jumped at the chance. The ideas they had sounded amazing so I immediately got excited for it.

They definitely kept the 4th of July theme going throughout the day. The bridesmaids had matching red, white and blue socks, the groomsman had the colors inside of their jackets and of course the aisle was striped with 66,000 red and white rose pedals.

Once Jena and Pat were ready we went down to Eagle Landing State Park for their first look. I love this park as it has great views of the Goodspeed Opera House and of course the Connecticut river. With this beautiful backdrop we took the family formal as well as the bridal party images.

Check out some of their images below or my other blog posts!
