J & J: Beautiful Backyard Wedding
I don’t know where to begin with Jack & Jessica’s beautiful backyard wedding! I guess I could start by mentioning that there were some pretty cool Alpacas! This is the first time I have ever seen this at a wedding and they were as cute and soft as they look in the pictures.
The entire wedding was on the property of Jessica’s parents which was beautiful maintained and then coordinated and decorated by A Perfect Little Plan. If you haven’t thought of having a planner for your wedding day I would highly consider it, especially if you are doing a lot of it yourself. This helps to make sure all of the details fall into place as well as make sure the day runs smoothly and as planned. Hey if your going to spend a year + on planning your wedding you might as well make sure if turns out the best it can.
I started my day with Jessica as she got ready with her bridesmaids and the most adorable ring bearers! We had a beautiful loft space for getting ready in the upstairs of her parent shoe. When it came time to put on the dress we went to a corner room that had great light. She got on all of her details and was ready for her first look with her brother and then her dad. These are some of my favorite parts of the day as it is such a special moment.
I then ran across the street to her Grandmothers home when Jack was getting ready with his groomsman. This part of the day is usually very relaxed and moves quickly as guys don’t really need much time to get ready.
Ok, so now we are getting to the alpaca part! This was a complete surprise to Jessica so we had the handlers bring the alpacas within sight of the front door where we wait for Jessica to come outside to get married. She was so surprised and excited for what awaited her outside. This wasn’t the end of the day for the alpacas, they stuck around through cocktail hour for the guests to enjoy and of course take some pictures.
The ceremony spot was nicely decorated with a beautiful arch covered in flowers for the backdrop. Jessica’s brother escorted her down the aisle where a very happy and excited Jack awaited her. After the ceremony the two happily walked back down the aisle where guests threw dried flowers into the air, and to think people used to throw rice, this is much more appealing.
The band rocked the dance floor as the couple and their guests had a great time.
