John & Chelsea’s Simsbury inn wedding was such a fun time! It was awesome starting out the morning with Chelsea and her bridesmaids at the Simsbury Inn where they got ready. The lighting in these rooms is a little tricky to work with but fortunately I bring my own and try to use it to mock nautural light coming through the windows.
Once everyone was ready we took a trip over to the Drake Hill Flower Bridge which is an absolutely beautiful location for a first look. Fortunately for us the rain held off until we had the first look and got to take some photos. The rain continued until we got back to the Simsbury Inn for the bridal party and family photos. Once we did the bridal party photos it started raining again so we went inside the greenhouse room attached to the ball room. The rain stopped again for the rest of the evening and they got to have the outdoor ceremony that they wanted.
After the ceremony everyone went into the bar area for the cocktail hour, the food was really good 🙂 Once cocktail hour was done we went into the ball room for their first dance, speeches and parent dances.
