A & D: Winter Lake of Isles Wedding
Alex & Diane’s winter Lake of Isles wedding was perfect! It was so fun getting to know these two during their engagement session. We started out playing mini golf in Old Saybrook right on the water. Alex is a golf pro and did pretty good at mini golf 🙂
I started out the day at Diane’s parents house where she got ready with her bridesmaids and family. Diane and her Dad had a beautiful first look in the living room in front of the fireplace which brought quite a few people to tears.
Arriving at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Norwich I just couldn’t wait for these two to get married – they are perfect for each other! Inside the church is BEAUTIFUL, I just love the architecture and the colors that it offers. They had a full ceremony which allowed for me and the second photographer to move around quite a bit without interrupting the ceremony at all. There are a lot of rules when photographing them so we did our best to avoid breaking any of them.
We headed over to Lake of Isles where we started with just Alex and Diane outside as the sun was fading fast so we wanted to make best use of it. The lake was a little foggy which made for a cool background for the photos, and of course having the venue in the background always looks nice too.
