E & L: Wadsworth Mansion Wedding
Ethan & Laura had such a beautiful wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT. The weather was all over the place with rain then sun and then rain again, but it couldn’t have worked out better!
We started off the day at Laura’s parents home where she got ready and took some photos of her and her bridesmaids before heading off to the church for the ceremony. Sometime when the weather doesn’t look like it will be in our favor I like to take some safe shots just in case we don’t have the opportunity to get back outside for more.
Being a professional singer it was no surprise that there were some beautiful performances during the ceremony which was amazing. They shared in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Following the ceremony we went outside to take the family formals, fortunately for us the front of the church was covered. As we started to take the family photos it started to rain, but fortunately didn’t last long, good thing I brought an umbrella.
On the drive over to the Wadsworth Mansion it started to pour again and it wasn’t looking good for photos outside, but lucky for us it went around us and we we able to take photos outdoors. The rain didn’t hold off for too long and we had to hurry to help drop the flaps of the tent so the water wouldn’t come in during cocktail hour.
