R & L: The Barn at Wight Farm Wedding
Congratulations to Ronnie & Lindsay, their wedding was at The Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge, MA. I couldn’t wait for this day to arrive, and I’m sure they couldn’t either! I got to know Ronnie & Lindsay throughout their wedding planning as well as during their engagement session at Thimble Island Brewery.
We started out the day at a hotel nearby where Lindsay and her girl got ready for the big day. Hair & Makeup can be one of the most fun parts of the day as there is so much emotion leading up to the ceremony.
Once hair & makeup was done we went over to the Barn at Wight Farm to put on Lindsay’s dress and all of her details. what a better way to start getting ready than to pop some champagne!
They had their ceremony in the Alpheus Wight Room which is beautiful. It is a barn with plenty of windows for light and enough space to accommodate their guests. They put up a rustic wooden arch that was decorated in flowers and was a great backdrop to their images.
They danced their first dance to “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds and I was pretty pumped to hear it played as I’ve never heard it at a wedding but I love it. Everyone had such a great time dancing and spending time together.
