P & C: Riverview Wedding
Pat & Caroline are such an amazing couple, I just loved getting to spend the day with them for their Riverview wedding!
I started the day with Caroline and her squad as they got ready in a hotel before heading over to a nearby garden for a first look with her dad. It was such a beautiful moment when they saw each other and she gave him a gift.
From there we ventured over to the church where I got to see some familiar faces from a wedding that I had photographed, which is always nice. This church was absolutely beautiful! They were also pretty relaxed with their rules, some churches are fairly strict. I was allowed to set up off camera flashes during this ceremony which isn’t something I usually do, mostly because it’s not typically allowed.
Following their ceremony they walked out of the church to a bubble exit. These are always tricky to shoot since a bunch of bubbles are floating in front of the camera but was able to get some awesome images of their friends and family celebrating the newlyweds.
For pictures of Pat & Caroline as well as their bridal party we took a little drive to the Drake Hill Flower bridge which is a beautiful location. The potted plants lining the bridge add a nice pop of color to images. Next to the bridge there is a little path that I like to go down for photos as you can get a view of the bridge in the background as well as the fall colored trees.
When it was time for the reception we went over to the Riverview and took a few more photos of family and down by the water. During the reception there was a nice surprise for Caroline as he Mom and friends got on their nun outfits and did a little dance.
