K & J: Grandview Wedding

Kevin & Julie had such a beautiful Grandview NY wedding! I had never been to this venue before so when I looked it up online I was really excited to check it out. Situated along the Hudson River in New York the Grandview had some beautiful backdrops for their first look, family photos and of course photos of the two of them.

We started out the day at the hotel where both Kevin & Julie got ready in separate rooms making it easy for me to get them both getting ready for the big day. I traveled over to the venue shortly after the guys so that we could get into position for their first look down on the walking path by the water. When Julie arrived she looked stunning in her dress as she approached Kevin.

We took some photos down by the water including the marina before heading back up to get ready for the ceremony. It was a bit hot out so they decided to help their guests stay cool by having the ceremony under the tent looking out onto the river.

During the reception it started to pour, fortunately we were all under the tent at the time but as quickly as it cam it went away and we were able to sneak out for some photos. The bridge was lit up at night making it a great feature to have in the background of some night photos.
