Harkness Park Summer Engagement Session

Hanging out with Mike & Selena for the Harkness Park summer engagement session was amazing! The chemistry between these two made taking their photos easy.

We started out at the greenhouse located on the property. I love the way that this building looks as a backdrop for photos. Within 50 yards of the green house is a really cool vine covered shed. Fortunately there are some cut up logs in front of the shed which makes it easier to adjust for height differences in couples.

Venturing behind the Eolia Mansion brought us to one of my favorite gardens on the property! Beautiful purple, I think it’s catnip, creates a row where you have a nice pop of color on either side. Of course moving around this section of garden allows you to use it in so many ways without having all the images look the same.

One of the best spots for the sunset at Harkness Memorial State Park is the beach! The sunsets here are simply amazing and I don’t know why but I feel like 2020 has had the best sunsets.
