D & L: Bond Ballroom Wedding

Dan & Laura had a beautiful wedding at the Bond Ballroom! This venue is pretty neat as it has it’s own space for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception without having guests drive to different locations.

After getting ready at the Goodwin Hotel they met at Elizabeth Park for their first look in the gardens. We chose one of the side gardens as it provided a little shade so when they saw each other they’d be lost in the moment and not the sun. We were joined by their family for photos with them so we could get all of the photos done before the ceremony. We had plenty of time to do this and even extra time when we got back to the Bond Ballroom to do some more combinations in the ballroom.

They got married in the Chapel of the Bond Ballroom which is a fairly new addition to the venue. The Chapel is conveniently located right next to the cocktail hour space making it an easy transition to the cocktail hour.

I would say that my favorite part of the venue is the rooftop access. It feels as if you’re sneaking out to the rooftop but once you get up the you have a great view of the capital building and the sunsets don’t dissapoint.
