C & R: Society Room Wedding

Craig & Rachel had such a beautiful wedding reception at the Society Room in Hartford. We started the day at the Goodwin Hotel in Hartford where Craig and Rachel both got ready. It’s always fun when there are some kids running around getting ready, they always make for some cute moments to photograph.

After everyone was all ready we went over to St. Thomas the Apostle for their wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful church ceremony with everyone gathered around to watch as they said their vows to each other.

Following their ceremony we went over to Elizabeth Park in West Hartford for family and photos of just Craig & Rachel. I absolutely love Elizabeth Park as it has many different backdrops in a pretty small area. The park is huge but fortunately all of the gardens are pretty close together. We even made our way over to Bushnell Park on the way to the Society Room to get some photos in front of the giant arch that is there.

After some photos on Pratt St. which is iconic for it’s red brick road and in front of the giant oak doors of the Society Room we went inside to get ready for cocktail hour followed by intros and then their reception.
