A & B: Fall Lake of Isles Wedding
Alex & Brian was the sweetest couple and their fall Lake of Isles wedding was so much fun to be a part of! They both got ready at a beautiful air BnB in Norwich which was amazing. When I walked into the kitchen my jaw hit the floor as it was a paradise to cook in. The huge industrial refrigerator and giant gas stove was out of this world.
Rather than getting ready separately everyone got ready together for hair and makeup and then split off to get dressed before the first look. They both wore really nice Indichino tuxes that were custom made just for them. They put a lot of effort into the details and it showed. Once they were both dressed I had my second photographer tax Alex outside to await his groom Brian. Brian was escorted by his father with his eyes closed so he couldn’t see Alex as he approached. They stood back to back and then when the time was right they turned around and had the best reactions as they saw one another.
After some portraits we went over to Lake of Isles for the family and bridal party portraits. As the ceremony was approaching everyone was getting excited to watch these two say their vows to each other.
Quickly after the ceremony we got to do one of my favorite parts, jump in the golf carts and head out for portraits. The colors that were on the trees and the lighting was just perfect to work with. The best part is definitely the bridge, with all those leading lines it is always fun to play around, especially when you have a great couple.
Once cocktail hour was over everyone went into the ballroom of Lake of Isles for the reception which Geoff and Grace from Local Motion did an absolutely amazing job.
